Are cravată portocalie. Aceeași pe care a avut-o în campania din 2012, fiindcă portocaliu era partidului care l-a propulsat atunci în cursă. Dar nu doar cravata e din campania din 2012, ci toată fotografia:
Se pare că imaginea candidatului pusă vizavi de Casa Studenților e provizorie și că la un moment dat, cât de curând, îi va lua locul una cu protagonistul purtând cravată verde. Nu c-ar fi vreo corvoadă pentru el să-și schimbe culoarea politică, după cum reiese de mai jos.
În 2000, omul de afaceri Antonie Aurică Solomon a candidat la Primăria Craiovei din partea PSDR, partid despre care nu doar că nu mai cunoaște nimeni nimic azi, dar nici la vremea aia nu se înghesuia lumea să știe. Cu toate astea, Antonie Solomon a devenit consilier local, iar în 2001, când PSD a absorbit PSDR ca pe nimic, a ajuns viceprimar, funcție care i-a oferit altă perspectivă drept candidat, cu proxima ocazie.
În 2004, însuși PSD l-a girat. La Primăria Craiovei. Ca viceprimar, știuse să-și facă aliat din presa locală. A câștigat, învingându-l chinuit în finală pe Marian Jean Marinescu.
În 2008, și-a adjudecat al doilea mandat de primar al Craiovei, distrându-se în finală cu Gheorghe Nedelescu. De data asta, cu o nouă coloratură politică: PD-L. Antonie Solomon pornea astfel în urmărirea lui Vasile Bulucea, ca longevitate. Ăla avusese și un mandat de pe vremea PCR.
A patra candidatură la Primărie în 2012 pentru eroul nostru, al patrulea partid: UNPR. Ceva mai breaz n-a găsit. În primul tur, l-a bătut Olguța Vasilescu. Iar al doilea tur, printr-o inovație aplicată alegerilor de primari, n-a mai existat, astfel devenind Olguța în premieră istorică primăriță a unui mare oraș românesc. Mai pe urmă, i-a călcat pe urme Gabi Firea. Cândva, Universitatea Craiova croise pârtie pentru Dinamo și Steaua în Europa…
Lui Antonie Solomon i-a trebuit timp cât să răsufle și, în același an, și-a încercat norocul la un post nou pentru el, de senator, de la un partid iarăși nou pentru el, PPDD. Partidul Poporului Dan Diaconescu, parcă așa se explicita sigla. Și chiar a fost cu noroc: prin încâlcita procedură de redistribuire a votului, omul nostru a intrat în Senat.
În scurtă vreme, fără voia lui, corifeul Dan Diaconescu a lăsat baltă partidul, iar Antonie Solomon a intrat în PP. Cineva care n-a urmărit evenimentele ar crede că, ieșind DD din PPDD, a rămas PP. Eroare, PP înseamnă Penitenciarul Pelendava, unde și-a petrecut vreo doi ani din viață Antonie Solomon. A ieșit de acolo promițând că nu va mai candida niciodată la nimic, iar în 2016 chiar s-a ținut de cuvânt.
Acum, adică nu chiar acum, ci în septembrie 2019, la Filarmonica din Craiova, Antonie Solomon a avut festivitatea de lansare a candidaturii la Primăria Craiova. Susținut de partidul condus de Victor Ponta, Pro România. Au dat și la Pro TV. Numai că, între timp, Solomon și Ponta s-au certat. Iar Antonie Solomon și-a anunțat următoarea lansare a candidaturii, în martie 2020, la Polivalentă, cu show de muzică populară. Din partea Partidului Ecologist Român.
Până la alegeri, omul mai are vreme să se chibzuiască. A candidat de la patru partide pentru Primăria Craiova și de la unul pentru Senat. Dacă se va suci și va renuța și la PER, tot va trebui să găsească un al șaselea partid care să-l crediteze. Pentru că, dintre cele care au făcut-o până acum, PSDR, PD-L, UNPR și PPDD nu mai există, iar PSD va avea sigur un alt candidat.
